About CE Change

CE Change was founded to help organisations navigate complex change in a way that actually works in practice, not just on paper.

Most businesses don’t struggle because people lack capability or commitment. They struggle because change rarely happens in isolation. Systems evolve, priorities shift, teams are stretched, and leaders are asked to make decisions quickly, often without complete information.

That’s where CE Change focuses its work.

Rather than introducing more process or activity, the aim is to understand how work is really happening across an organisation, where pressures are building, and what needs to change to create steadier progress. Sometimes that involves shaping major transformation programmes. Sometimes it means reviewing systems and ways of working. Often it involves acting as a sounding board for senior leaders, helping them test decisions and stay focused on what matters most.

The goal is always the same: progress that holds up under pressure, because it works for the organisation and the people in it.

Meet Cara

Cara Halliwell founded CE Change in 2015, following a career spent working inside organisations as well as alongside them, delivering change across retail, professional services, education, legal, advertising, and international environments.

From early on, she was drawn to understanding why some initiatives succeed while others stall, even when the intentions are good and the people involved are capable. That curiosity still shapes her work today.

Clients value her ability to step into complex situations, understand how things are really working, and help leaders move forward with confidence, without making things harder than they need to be. She’s known for combining strategic thinking with practical delivery experience, and for bringing a sense of calm to situations that feel pressured or uncertain.

Her focus is not simply on implementing change, but on helping leaders and teams build the confidence and capability to continue making progress long after formal support has ended.
